A little royal fairytale come to life! This absolutely darling vintage toddler dress by Rare Editions is full of rich jewel tones, luxurious velvet, and the sweetest old-fashioned details. Featuring deep plum purple velvet, dramatic puff sleeves, and delicate white floral accents, this precious two-piece ensemble looks like something made for a tiny princess!

The dress features beautifully gathered puff sleeves with contrasting white patterned fabric, a gently ruffled neckline, and a wonderfully full velvet skirt. The waist is adorned with intricate white embroidered lace appliqués, delicate butterfly-like motifs, and a beautiful cluster of purple, blue, and green satin flowers. Long, flowing ribbons cascade down the front, adding an extra touch of storybook magic.

One of my favorite details is the beautiful white patterned band along the hem, which gives the dress such an elegant finish against the rich purple velvet. The matching deep plum bloomers complete this charming outfit, making it an especially lovely surviving vintage set.

Made by Rare Editions, this darling ensemble is believed to date to approximately the 1990s–early 2000s, although its exact year is unknown. Perfect for holiday celebrations, family photographs, birthdays, or any little one who deserves a little vintage princess magic!
