An incredibly special vintage silk baptism gown set from the 1940s, made from 100% silk and complete with four coordinating pieces: a long baptism gown, matching sleeveless gown, bonnet, and an additional sleeveless underlayer/slip. Estimated to fit approximately 0–6 months. This is such a beautiful surviving set from the 1940s and one of those pieces that feels genuinely precious to hold.

The long gown has the most beautiful luminous ivory-white silk with a gathered silhouette, delicate embroidered floral details, lace-trimmed collar, covered buttons, and long sleeves. The coordinating sleeveless gown carries the same delicate embroidery and lace-trimmed collar, while the little silk bonnet finishes everything so sweetly. The fourth piece is a simple sleeveless silk underlayer designed to sit beneath the gowns.

This vintage silk baptism gown set is approximately 80 years old. The silk shows natural wrinkling, age, and signs of its history, which I feel only add to its character. Please review all photos closely for the condition and delicate vintage details.
